Transports

The different connections between the Azores, Europe and other continents are secured with daily flights through Lisbon. There are also regular flights connecting with Madeira, the United States and Canada.

There are charter flights between the Azores and Spain, the north of Europe, the United States and Canada.

Throughout the year, the regional operator SATA-Air Acores secures the connections between the nine Azorean islands

Due to the geographic location, many large cruise ships and sail boats visit our local harbors and marinas.

From May through October (car)ferries operate between the islands.

Throughout the year there are regular connections by ferry between the Isles Faial, Pico and San Jorge secured by companies as Transmaçor and Expresso do Triângulo.

All Islands have bus services, taxies or car rental available.
